First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Swissport.
Customer Service Representative
It was a very easy and quick interview process. It was comfortable and a group interview, not one-on-one, which made it less daunting. The interviewers were very supportive and approachable. They let us choose between domestic and international terminals, which is great because it gives you variety in learning.
- Can you tell me about your previous customer service work experience?
Customer Service Agent
first they asked for 2 proofs of ID, 2 proofs of address, and my National Insurance number. then I had to do a test booklet, covering numeracy, literacy, and some customer service scenarios. after that, we watched an info video about the different jobs available, and then we had the interview.
- Can you describe a situation where you were part of a team and your specific role within it?
- Could you share an instance where you exceeded expectations for a customer or client?
- Describe a time you encountered a challenging customer and how you managed the interaction.
Customer Service Agent
I went for an assessment centre, which was supposed to be longer, but it lasted about an hour and a half. It started with filling in a form and then doing two tests, one for English and one for mental arithmetic. I think I did okay on those. After that, there was a group task where we were given a scenario and had to list things in order. It felt pretty professional, but I'm not really sure what the job actually entails day-to-day, even though I got the offer. They only briefly mentioned it in the job ad and I was hoping for more details about the daily routine. I can't recall if I got a chance to ask questions at the end of the interview, but if I did, I would have asked about the job routine.
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a customer issue and how you resolved it?
- What's your understanding of our company?
