Head Coach
It started with a phone call with the recruiter, then a Zoom interview with an Area Director. After that, I had a 2-hour in-person 'day in the life' visit with a different Area Director. The final step was a Zoom interview with the Regional Director. The whole thing took about 2 weeks. They move pretty fast if they think you're a good candidate who might get other offers. On the final interview day, I got the offer that afternoon – the interview was at 11 am and the offer was sent by 4:14 pm.

The process started with a Hiring manager screen where they asked about my experience, my interest in the company, and for examples from my work history. They also gave some general info about the desired traits for the role but didn't go into the actual responsibilities. We also discussed what the rest of the interview process would look like.
- What makes you want to work here?
Team Member
It was a chatty interview, mostly focused on general fit rather than specific skills. The main point was to show you're friendly, optimistic, and a good collaborator. They asked about my past work and why I was interested in this particular role – always have a good answer ready for that last one.
- How do you collaborate with others?
Associate
The interview process at Sweetgreen inquired about my prior experience within the food sector. They also asked about my customer service skills and how I would manage challenging customer interactions, giving examples like dealing with an irate customer over a mistaken order or a situation where the customer was incorrect. It was an average interview overall.

- Can you share your experience working in the food industry and what your responsibilities were?
- Tell me about your experience in customer service.
