Legal Assistant
Had a really nice chat with the team, and it was a great conversation about the role. The interaction was friendly and very human. While I didn't get the position in the end, it does seem like a fantastic place to work.

Analyst
The recruiter was really bad and the interview experience was awful. The recruiter didn't seem to think my Master’s degree and internships were relevant during the initial phone screening. She also didn't give me much time to ask questions. She didn't know what the hiring team was looking for or who the ideal candidate was because she couldn't answer basic questions or say the hiring manager's name correctly. She once called me on a Friday and wanted me to interview on Monday. After a few rounds, I got an automated rejection, which I wasn't surprised about since others had similar interview experiences. This company doesn't get that interviews are a two-way street.

Analytics Manager
I had a phone interview with the external recruiter, and it went well. The company wanted me to come in for an in-person interview with the data director. When I arrived, I was told the director was too busy. I had a nice chat with someone from the team instead. Then, they pulled someone else into the interview who admitted they hadn't even read my CV. I mentioned I had to leave after an hour, and the original director tried to squeeze in a technical interview in the lift. They asked me to chat later that week to apologize for wasting my time, but then they said they couldn't find time until the new year. I haven't heard back since. It was a complete waste of time and unprofessional.

Operations Manager
The whole process took about a month from the initial recruiter call to the final decision. It was about two weeks from when they said they'd start interviews to the first one, after a week's delay. The first interview was online with HR, mainly to chat about the company, the role, and for them to get a sense of my background and why I'm interested. The second interview was also online, with the hiring manager, and was more about competencies. Since the job needs another language, I also had a chat with a native speaker of that language, which was also a good way to learn more about the job. The final stage was in-person and involved a case study. I was given some data and a scenario to analyze and then had to present my findings on two key issues to the hiring manager and a director from a related department. The presentation itself took up half the interview time, followed by questions about my analysis. The other half focused on my motivation and how I'd handle situations in the role. I also got to meet a team member to hear about their experience. Overall, it was okay. They found a good mix of online and in-person interviews, the people were nice, and I could ask questions. But, I rated it 'neutral' because the job was advertised as a 6+ month contract, but they actually wanted someone permanent. Within a day of finishing the final interview, I saw the same job re-listed as a contract role again, and I wouldn't hear back for three days. It seemed like the team knew what they needed for the contract period but not beyond that, which felt a bit off. More openness would have been good, plus telling me the outcome before re-advertising. The worst part was the lack of feedback. The email just said 'team fit.' When I asked the recruiter for more details, I never heard back. This was a bummer, especially after a three-stage process that included a case study I had to do over a weekend on short notice. The timeline was really tight at every step; I twice got told I was moving on after 6 pm on a Friday for interviews the next Monday or Tuesday. That meant I had to cancel work and social plans last minute to prep for the case study and do the interviews. At the very least, I'd expect some proper feedback to help me with future applications.
