It was a 2 round process. First round was with the hiring manager to check my profile and see if I was a good fit. Second round was a team panel interview, which included the hiring manager and a senior team member. This round had a mix of technical, system design, and behavioral questions. I got the offer the following week.

So I applied for a Technical Writer and Communication Specialist job. It started okay with a recruiter call. But then the hiring manager round was rough, they made me share my screen and do live writing tasks, which felt super pressured and not really a fair test. They said I'd hear back in a week. I waited, and after the week passed, I followed up twice. Nothing. No reply at all from anyone, which is just bad form and shows poor communication. After chasing them again, they finally set up a second interview, but it felt like a waste of time. They asked me grammar questions, expecting me to remember stuff from ages ago. And guess what? No response for another week. I followed up, and just got the standard 'we picked someone else' email. Total time suck and disrespectful.

I hit apply online, then had a quick chat over the phone. After that, I had an online interview and then went to their office in Menara Binjai. The whole thing wrapped up in about 2 weeks. The online chat was with a Senior Engineer and covered some maths and C# syntax stuff. The in-person interview involved a senior engineer and a team lead. They gave me a coding problem on paper and I had to code the solution live.

The interview process started with a phone interview that went well, and then I was immediately scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager. That also seemed to go well, and the hiring manager expressed interest in moving me forward. I was told the next steps would be handled by the recruiter and that things would move quickly. After that, I received one more email from the recruiter about finishing other interviews and that an update would be coming soon. Unfortunately, after that, there was no further response, and none of my follow-up attempts received a reply, not even to inform me that they had decided to proceed with other candidates. While I understand that decisions are made to pursue other candidates, ghosting and not responding at all is disrespectful, especially after indicating an opportunity to advance. We understand it's a competitive job market, but at the very least, we expect a response to a follow-up, whether it's good news or bad. I guess this reflects the dysfunction mentioned in current employee reviews.
