I had an initial chat with HR, and then I got shortlisted for an online interview. The interview was with two managers from the Denmark office. They asked me about React and Agile methodologies. It wasn't too difficult, and the interview felt pretty relaxed.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Could you explain the React lifecycle?

I hit apply online, then had a quick chat over the phone. After that, I had an online interview and then went to their office in Menara Binjai. The whole thing wrapped up in about 2 weeks. The online chat was with a Senior Engineer and covered some maths and C# syntax stuff. The in-person interview involved a senior engineer and a team lead. They gave me a coding problem on paper and I had to code the solution live.

The first step was a call with the hiring manager, who was nice and helpful even though he didn't know much about the role. He moved me to the next interview with two other people. This interview on Microsoft Teams felt like an ambush from the start. The interviewers didn't introduce themselves or let me introduce myself. They immediately hit me with rushed technical questions and ignored me when I asked for clarification. They even asked about tech I haven't used and wasn't on the job description or my resume. One interviewer argued with the other, showing it's likely a dysfunctional place to work. When I tried to ask questions at the end, they said I wasn't allowed. I ended up knowing less about the job than before. They ghosted me afterward, which wasn't surprising given the lack of professionalism.

  • Can you reverse an integer using any programming language you prefer?
