The interview process for this role involved three rounds, and it felt quite lengthy and unorganized overall. All interviews were conducted via Microsoft Teams. The HR representative seemed to lack knowledge and wasn't particularly helpful.

It was pretty straightforward, with 3 rounds that weren't too difficult. A lot of STAR-based questions. The team was really friendly. The first round was a Zoom call with the hiring manager, the second round was with the manager, and the third round was with potential coworkers.

A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and after some back and forth, I had a few phone calls with them. It was going well until I got an email asking if I was still interested since they hadn't received my pre-work. They then re-sent the pre-work which involved writing some automated tests on a platform that was familiar but new to me. I decided to withdraw because I realized I'd be doing hours of unpaid work, which felt like a scam, especially since none of my previous jobs required pre-work.

I applied through their website and a recruiter called me the next day to set up an interview. That first chat with the recruiter went fine. Then, the next day, I had a Zoom interview with the supervisors. Their vibe was off during that one, like they were annoyed and just wanted it to end. They seemed really distracted the whole time. They only asked about my past jobs. The recruiter said it would be 45 minutes, but it only took 10.
