My first interview round went well. The second round was supposed to happen but got cancelled. I had to chase them to find out why. They told me they couldn’t proceed at that moment. After several weeks, they contacted me again to interview with a new leader they hired. The interview felt very different the second time around compared to the first.
- Can you tell me about your experience in this industry?
Senior QA Engineer
The interview was pretty easy, with 3 rounds plus an HR round. Round 1 was virtual and covered API HTTP requests, status codes, parameters, payload, variables, some manual testing stuff, Selenium exceptions, SQL queries, Java OOP concepts, Agile process, and explaining my project. Round 2 was face-to-face and included an introduction, project explanation, API questions (like the ones mentioned), challenges faced, learning process, and understanding about the company. The HR round involved salary discussion, introductions, family details, and other activities.
- Can you elaborate on the company and the technical aspects mentioned in the description?
Software Developer
It was an on-campus, in-person interview process that lasted the whole day, with a total of 4 rounds. The first round involved a briefing about the company and then a coding test where we had to solve any 2 out of 3 given coding questions. The second round was a technical interview for those shortlisted from the first round test. Questions covered the first round test, CS fundamentals, and basic coding. The third round was an interview with the Director, focusing on projects and typical HR questions. The fourth round was with HR, and that was it. After clearing all rounds, they took my full details, but my name wasn't on the final list. When I asked why, they just said it was a company decision.
