Sales Manager
Got good prep from the HR rep. The next interviews were structured and set up with the people I'd be working with. They also explained the on the job training well, which sounded like it would be helpful. Didn't get the job in the end, even though I got to the final stages. To be fair, I wasn't ready to relocate. The main challenge during the interviews was not having a clear picture of what the day-to-day would look like in a very isolated territory.
- What sales execution tools do you possess for unfamiliar environments?
Recruiter
The interview process and experience were extremely unprofessional. I was ghosted for months but kept being told I was still in the running. You should really take their employer reviews to heart. It's wild they can get anyone to apply if this is how they treat candidates. Their TA department seriously needs a revamp. I've never experienced such an unprofessional interview process before, with terrible communication and no clarity on what they needed for the role.

HR Shared Service Specialist
I saw this HR Shared Service Specialist role and the posting said the pay was between $23.62-35.43/hr. My first interview was a virtual one on 11/27/24. It was a pretty standard screening call, but the recruiter told me the pay would actually be around $23-25/hr. I pointed out that this didn't match the job posting, and they said resumes would be rated to set pay based on experience. This wasn't in the job description initially but was added later after I mentioned it. The second interview was with the hiring manager on 12/11/24. The hiring manager said they wanted to fill the role by January and I'd hear back from the recruiter by that Friday, 12/13/24. When I didn't hear back, I had to follow up multiple times. I was then told a decision would be made after the new year. I followed up again on 1/13/25 and 1/29/25 and finally got an update that the position was filled. They apologized for the delay. This whole process was poorly managed with bad communication between the recruiter and hiring manager. It felt like I dodged a bullet, as this disorganization makes me hesitant about working there.
- Why are you interested in working for Sazerac?
Internal Communications Specialist
I interviewed with Sazerac and while I did not get an offer, the experience was great. I had some doubts because of negative reviews about old leadership but after meeting with HR and the new CHRO, it's clear that was the past. The current team is different. I had some unexpected issues during the interview and the team was very understanding and supportive, which really impressed me. The role wasn't the right fit for me, but I would gladly interview with them again for another role. The company seems to be heading in a good direction with positive changes and dedicated people. I wish them well and think Sazerac is a good place to work if you want support and a forward-thinking environment.
- Can you describe your creative process?
