First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sazerac.
Sales Representative
It was an easy process compared to others in the industry. You should do your research and really understand their portfolio. There were multiple interview stages, mostly done over Zoom. Usually, the recruiter will reach out first to see if you're a good fit for them.
- Can you tell me about yourself and why you are interested in Sazerac?
Sales Representative
I had a recruiter call, they sent my resume to the hiring manager, then I interviewed within a few days. I got an offer a few days after that. I tried to negotiate salary after accepting and they said I should have no problem getting that, then they came back and negotiated me down to a lower salary after relenting. Then their movers called me, then they rescinded the offer before they even started a background check. I’m guessing it was because my salary expectations were too high? Either way, they’ve raised their base salary since then because new candidates come in now at what I had asked for just 6 months previously. Anyway, first company that’s ever rescinded an offer to me.
- What is your biggest weakness and biggest strength??
Sales Representative
The interview was very pleasant and straightforward. The interviewer was upfront about the position and had a great attitude, showing a lot of enthusiasm for past work. Some tough questions were asked, but that's normal.
- Can you tell me about your previous position?
