First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Sats.
Manager
Applied online in Sept 2025. Got a call from HR for a F2F interview on very short notice. The interview involved analyzing the 2025 annual report for SATS, focusing on the trends and achievements of the department I applied for, and giving my perspective on its future. I had 30 minutes to prep a PowerPoint and deliver a presentation. This was followed by a panel discussion with the HR Director and Hiring Manager. The whole thing took about 90 mins. Afterwards, the HR Director mentioned I was on 'freeze' and they'd let me know about rejection. Over a month later, HR messaged on WhatsApp asking if I was still available since the hiring manager was still interested. I said yes, then got ghosted for another month. Mid-Nov, they called early asking to offer me a job and requested past payslips and my highest education certificate. After waiting two weeks and following up constantly, the HR Director called to say they'd filled the original position but wanted to offer me a lower-paying, newly opened position in the team. Despite red flags, I asked to see the offer. They stated they wanted to offer a senior exec role with lower pay, as they felt my experience didn't justify the title/salary. I questioned this, given they had my resume and interviewed me already. I finally uploaded my documents after the HR Director sent an auto-mail. They ghosted me again for 3 weeks. After constant follow-ups, they said they couldn't offer the AM title I wanted (my current title) and wished me luck. Avoid this place.
- Why do you want to work for SATS?
Operations Support
I feel like the interview went pretty well in general. It was pretty short, but I managed to answer the hiring manager's questions clearly and confidently. I also made sure to highlight my related experiences, show off my communication skills, and really emphasize my eagerness to join the team and contribute effectively.
- What are your thoughts on the scope of this job?
Customer Service Agent
The registration was fast. However, I was quite upset by the interviewer's attitude. I'm a fresh graduate aiming to get experience in ground operations to help me get a different job title later that requires 2-5 years of experience. The interviewer was very judgmental, insinuating I didn't know what the job involved and wouldn't like it because it's a 'mundane' role and doesn't require a degree. She suggested I was in the wrong place. I wasn't even told about salary, benefits, or contract because she assumed I wasn't a good fit. I found it unprofessional that she gave unsolicited advice about my career path. I need to start somewhere to reach my goals, even if it means low pay and routine work for experience. I left feeling offended and am no longer interested in the job.

Graduate Assimilation Programme
This whole recruitment cycle for the SATS Graduate Assimilation Programme went on for almost three months, and it had a bunch of assessment rounds and interviews. I was really into it and gave it my all, so it was a bummer that communication just stopped after all that. I tried to get some feedback, but nothing came back. I know hiring can be crazy competitive, but if SATS could just give people updates and feedback, especially after a long haul like this, it'd make the candidate experience so much better and show they really care about people.
