& Process

I went through a few rounds of interviews. First, I spoke with Talent Acquisition, then the Hiring Manager. After that, I had separate interviews with the videographer and the Marketing Director. The interviews were pretty straightforward, and the recruiters were nice, but a lot of the questions were the same in different rounds. They mentioned an exercise would be part of the process. They said they'd let me know about next steps, but about four days later, I got an email saying they chose someone else and wouldn't be proceeding with the exercise. They said they enjoyed meeting me but didn't give specific feedback. I asked for more details but didn't hear back.

My interview was with an HR person from Lisbon and it was the worst. He was rude and unprofessional, like he thought being mean showed authority. He even asked why I was shaking my head, which was uncomfortable. I'm not sure if he treats male candidates the same. If this is how they make a first impression, they should change how people represent them. A more polite approach would show their values better.

It's a pretty typical process with a few stages. First, you chat with HR, then the hiring manager. After that, there's a take-home assignment. Once you're done with that, you'll have a technical call specifically about the exercise, followed by a more general technical interview covering other stuff. The last part is an interview with both the hiring manager and HR again.

It took them 3 weeks to respond, and they didn't give any feedback on the tech assessment, which I spent a full working day on. I feel the process could have been more respectful of my time and effort.
