First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at RPA.
Accountant
First I had a phone call with the recruiter, it was mostly a screening to see if I would move on to the next stage with the hiring manager. They asked some basic questions and gave me advice on how to prepare, including what the hiring manager is looking for.
- Were there specific questions about the role and what they are looking for, particularly regarding NetSuite experience?
ODP
They asked questions about my experience and how I'd apply it to the job. They also asked how I handle work stress, challenges, and challenging customers. We talked about my working patterns, time management, and my experience with letters writing and certificates.
- How will my experience help me in this job?
- How will your experience help this job?
Account Executive
It wasn't the best experience. I was disappointed because, even though they use their services for marketing/communication, their recruiters aren't great communicators. I thought it would just be a meet and greet before the call, but it turned out to be an interview. The recruiter did offer to reschedule when I was surprised by the interview's direction, but they never followed through. In the end, the pay was very low for the type of questions they were asking.
- Can you give me five words that describe what it's like working with you?
- Are you more left-brained or right-brained?
Production
It started with an intern project, which was either a video or written submission. Then there was a pre-recorded video interview with five questions, and each question had a 3-minute maximum response time. Finally, I interviewed with the VP/Executive Producer. Throughout the whole thing, the recruiter was really good with communication, so I always felt in the loop, unlike other interviews I've had.
- Could you walk me through your resume?
- What aspects of this position appealed to you?
- What are your career aspirations and what are you seeking from this opportunity?
