Round Two was about a 20 minute phone call with a junior HR person, basically a chat about my skills, why I wanted to apply, what I knew about the industry, and other logistical stuff. Round three was a ~30 minute in-person meeting with the head of the department I was going for. This interview was more like a conversation to see if I'd be a good fit. They asked things like "Tell me about yourself.", "What interests you?", "Where do you see yourself?". I found out a few days later they went with another candidate. A senior HR person was nice enough to give feedback and answer my follow-up questions thoughtfully.

The interview process was pretty simple, with a phone screening and then an in-person (or Skype) interview. The HR people were incredibly nice. They were honest that the department I applied for usually hires recent grads or grad students, but they would look for a spot in another department. A couple days after my phone interview, they asked if I wanted to interview for a similar department. They also accommodated my interview time when I was in Paris. The interview wasn't too hard, but you should be knowledgeable about the department. Overall, I was happy with the process!

The interview process for this internship was quite unusual. It involved about two rounds of interviews, plus a 500-word essay about myself. First, I spoke with a recruiter, and then I was left in the dark about updates until I followed up. Honestly, it's a strange process for this company, and I'm pretty disappointed; I won't be applying again.
