First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Rose International.
Contractor
I was contacted by a recruiter about a great job at a top company and was told I was their top candidate. Since the job market is tough, I did the screening interview. After a lot of back and forth for 2 days, they went silent. I followed up and they said they were waiting to hear back the next week. It's been over a month with no news. It seems like they might have been collecting resumes for some purpose, maybe to help write job descriptions? It's best to avoid them.
- Can you share your experience?
Data Analyst
It was pretty straightforward, they just wanted to hear about my background and skills. We chatted about my bachelors, masters, and other stuff I'm into. I also covered what I did in my last role and gave some examples of when I led a team.
- What skills do you possess?
HR Intern
I interviewed for an HR intern role at Rose International. The interview itself went fine, but I was really bummed that they just ghosted me afterward. I sent a bunch of emails and heard nothing back. Honestly, as someone looking for a job, that's super unprofessional and a real downer. Companies should at least respect our time, win or lose. Hopefully, Rose International gets better at communicating.
- Can you elaborate on the XYZ experience listed on your resume?
Case Investigator
The interview process was remote and handled by outsourced recruiters. There was a lot of paperwork to upload, and the start date, workdays, and duration were unclear. I didn't know who my supervisor was until after training, and even then it was confusing. The actual work was fine, but the process was definitely not straightforward. About four months into the job, the same recruiter who hired me called to ask about my submitted work hours, right when I was logging in for my shift. I found out later I was being laid off. My supervisor acted clueless, but I later learned she knew. It was the strangest company I've ever worked for.
