So I had a recruiter call, which was supposed to be with the company and it went well. Then I was in contact with 3 different people about what the next step was, which was an onsite with the company. After my onsite, I never heard back from any of them. I ended up reaching out a few weeks later and one of the recruiters told me that the position wasn't a fit but that he wanted to submit me for another position. This new position sounded like a good fit, but again, I never heard back from him after that conversation. As someone in recruiting, I'm appalled by the lack of communication and professionalism from everyone I worked with at Rose International.

Great process ~ phone interview with Rose then another with the Hiring Manager. The initial phone screen was easy. It was great establishing rapport with both the Recruiter and the Hiring Manager. I was kept up to date on the status of my application via email and was informed of the next steps in the process leading up to being hired.

I applied for the technical recruiter job at Rose International on CareerBuilder.com, sending in my resume and a cover letter. Someone from their recruiting team reached out the next day for a phone interview, which happened the day after that and was about 30 minutes long. The questions were standard stuff about my background and how I'd handle certain scenarios. Later that same day, I got an email inviting me for an in-person interview the following day. This in-person interview was quite long, lasting 2 hours, and I met with all four people working in the office. First, I met with the recruiter who initially contacted me and a Senior Recruiter. Then, I had a one-on-one with another Senior Recruiter. Finally, I spoke with the Sales Recruiter, who is responsible for finding new roles to fill. Everyone I met was very pleasant and knew a lot about the job and the company. It seems the office has been trying to recover from some difficulties and is rebuilding its team, which explains the small staff. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer, even though I felt the interviews went well. They did let me know they decided to go with someone else, which I appreciated rather than being left wondering. I also asked for feedback on my performance, and while I don't entirely agree with it all, I'm sharing it in case it's helpful for others.
