Principal Architect
Applied on a Thursday, heard back Monday/Tuesday from recruiter asking to setup a zoom call about next steps. Agreed to a slot on Friday. Joined the call and the recruiter never did. Few hours back heard that something came up and asked for more timeslots. Repeated the slots already proposed for the following week. Never heard back. Wednesday followed up to see if there were any plans for next steps and agreed to a slot on Friday. Few hours later received a meeting cancellation saying the position had been filled.

Sales Development Representative
Had three zoom interviews, first with the recruiter, then with two different sales managers. They asked standard questions. Seemed really upfront about everything. Got the offer within a week of starting the process. The pay is good, and they were clear about compensation and what they expected from the role.

Account Executive
The first call was with a recruiter and it went well. Standard first round questions about previous quota, hunting vs farming, etc. The person was super personable and nice, which made me a bit excited for the position, even though it was a huge pay cut. My second interview was with the hiring manager and it was a joke. First thing he said was that he didn't have any open headcount, but always wants to keep his funnel of talent open. When I asked if he was getting headcount anytime soon, his answer was "Honestly, I hope not. I'm sick of hiring people." So yeah, it was a complete and total waste of time. I can understand interviewing when you don't have headcount yet, but are expecting someone to get promoted or leave or whatever. But when you have no openings in sight, to still take a meeting is crazy. This guy had also never been in SaaS sales, told me he never really even knew what SaaS was before taking this job. To have that as your manager was also a huge red flag for me.
- Can you tell me about your previous quota and the percentage you achieved?
Product Manager
So I don't normally write reviews, even when I don't make it past the final stages. But this interview experience was really bad. After going through what felt like the whole process, I was told I was one of the last two candidates. Then, there was a lot of radio silence, and two more "final" rounds happened over a week. The last one felt like they just wanted free work. In the end, the hiring manager completely ghosted me, even though we had a good connection and talked directly on LinkedIn before. I wouldn't suggest interviewing here if you care about your time, because they clearly don't.
