So the interview process was like this: first there was a normal screening interview. Then, I had a technical interview with a developer where they asked about my projects and experiences. No LeetCode questions, just stuff about me and my past work.

I sent in my resume and the recruiter called me about a week later. We chatted for about 30 minutes about the basics. Then, a phone interview with the hiring manager was set up for a few days later. I spoke with the HM for about 45 minutes about the role. It was a good chat, and I got a good vibe from the manager and the company. A couple of weeks later, I had a panel interview over video with 4 people, including the HM. It was a bit strange though. Only one person, another manager, actually asked me questions for about 20 minutes. After that, he asked if I had any questions, and I asked a few, which took up the remaining time, making it 30 minutes total. I felt like there were 4 people there, but only one was really interviewing me, and the others were just watching. I figured it wasn't a good fit and moved on. The next day, recruiting asked for my references, so I gave them. Three days after that, the recruiter called to let me know they had selected another candidate. It was a really weird process, and I'm not sure what to make of it. But, they were very professional and polite throughout. It seems like a good company, just needs to sort out some oddities.

The interview process included a phone screen, a video chat with the hiring manager, and a take-home test. Unfortunately, I never got any response or feedback on the take-home test. Weeks went by with no word. I reached out, and they said I should hear back by the end of the day, but they didn't even manage that. They never followed up or gave feedback even after saying they would.
