First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Reiss.
Placement Specialist
The interview process was super smooth overall. It involved three main parts: first, a phone call, then I had to create a presentation, and finally, there was an assessment centre which included a group activity, a presentation, and a 1-on-1 interview with some behavioural questions. I actually really liked the whole experience because everyone was so friendly and welcoming, plus it was engaging and gave me a good insight. Head office got back to me quickly and were easy to reach if I needed anything.
- Can you tell me about a time when you improved upon something that was already performing well?
Head Office
The interview process here was one of the best I've seen. The team was really welcoming and organised! It involved a few stages: first, I had to submit a creative task and then present it to the creative team. After that, there was a group task, and finally, a quick behavioural interview with the recruiter.
- Can you explain the thought process behind your submitted task and how it connects with the brand's identity?
Graphic Designer
The interview process consisted of two main parts: first a phone call to discuss my background and experience, then an in-person interview. The in-person part involved a presentation of a task I had prepared. They reviewed it, but I didn't advance further. Overall, it felt more like a presentation evaluation than a real check of my skills or experience. Given how much work I put into the task, it felt a bit like a waste of my time.
- Can you describe your thought process for completing this task?
Head Office
The recruitment process at Reiss was very smooth, transparent, and well-structured. From the initial communication to the final offer, every stage was handled professionally. The interviewers were friendly, engaging, and clearly passionate about the work they do. The process included 3 stages: 1. An initial interview via teams with the manager. (30 minutes) 2. Next in-person interview focused more on systems knowledge and competency based questions with a manager and HR at head office. There was a task to perform as well. (1 hour 30 minutes) 3. A final in-person interview also held at the head office with the Manager and the team, focused on technical questions. (30 minutes)
- Can you elaborate on your background and experience, including your skills, in-depth knowledge of systems and tools, and your data analysis capabilities?
