The whole thing took about a month. First, I had a chat with the Hiring Manager. Then, there was an assignment given to me (make a case for BOGO for Rebel). After that, we discussed the assignment. Finally, we had a session on Growth & Distribution problem-solving.

So, there were 3 rounds total: Senior Engineer, Principal Engineer, and then HR. The engineering rounds were pretty deep dives, looking at problem-solving, system design, and frontend skills with discussions and live coding. The HR part was more about seeing if I'd fit in, how I communicate, and if my career goals match up. It really checked both technical skills and how I handle coding under pressure.

The interview was pretty easy to medium difficulty. Expect common data and business analyst questions. They test your SQL, Python, and basic ML skills. Strong fundamentals are important, especially with data application-related questions. I suggest practicing about 20-30 common SQL and Python questions. It was an easier interview compared to other companies.

The first interview was with a solution architect where I was asked questions about MS architecture. The questions were quite challenging, and I really liked that round. The second round person was pretty rude. They showed up 30 minutes late, which was a big turn-off and hints at the company's culture. They started asking random coding questions while doing their own work and only seemed interested in answers they already knew, not listening to other solutions. Overall, this round raised a red flag, and I decided to pass.
