The interview process was super smooth, with 4 rounds in total. First, there was an online assessment with multiple-choice questions covering topics like DBMS, OS, OOPS, and JAVA. Then, there were two technical rounds where they looked at my resume. Technical Round 1 involved a quick intro, followed by questions on Javascript, Node.js (stuff from my resume), and OOPS. I had to write a couple of SQL queries and then code a medium-level DSA problem on an IDE. They also asked about my projects. Technical Round 2 was pretty similar; I had to code two problems, focusing on writing production-ready code. More questions on DBMS, OS, and my projects came up. Finally, the HR round was mostly about my education, what I know about the company, my strengths and weaknesses, and my future aspirations.

Rebel Foods came to our NIT Kurukshetra Campus for the Backend SDE-I Developer role. All the rounds were done online. First was a 60-minute MCQ test with 15 Verbal + Logical questions and 30 DSA + Core Subjects + Programming Language questions. Then there were two technical interviews, one lasting 60 minutes and the second for 50 minutes. Finally, there was a 15-minute HR Interview.

- Can you introduce yourself and tell us about your skills and hobbies?
- For an unsorted array with duplicates, how would you remove them without using built-in structures like Java Collections or C++ STL? You can build your own structures like arrays or linked lists. We only need your approach.
- Could you write an SQL query to display city names and their respective citizen counts, assuming you have two tables (one for city names, one for citizen counts) linked by a common attribute?

They had 3 rounds, 2 technical & 1 HR. After the final selection in HR round & documents submission, the salary they offered was way less than the expectations that I said at the start of the process. If you won't be able to meet up the salary expectations, just say it before the process...why waste a candidate's time & energy in 3 rounds.
