First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at QVC.
Paid Media Manager
I talked with the recruiter first, then had a Zoom interview with the hiring manager and another person. I thought both went well. They said I'd hear back in a week, but it's been over two months. I emailed them multiple times and got no response or update. It's frustrating and disrespectful.

Host
The interview process kicks off with a video intro where you have to sell an item. Then, you do another sell. After that, there's a live sell over Zoom with sales management. If you pass that, they'll fly you in for an in-person group session. There, you'll do a two-minute sell, followed by a four-minute sell. Then, you'll have an interview, and after that, you won't hear back either way. They might hire a couple of people from the group, but they'll keep looking at hundreds more. They don't seem to care if you have experience and offer everyone the same pay, which is insulting to experienced people in this industry. It's strange how they keep posting ads for hosts when there are many experienced people they won't even consider, and offering everyone the same rate is also insulting.

Kitchen and Studio Coordinator
The in-person interview started 15 minutes late. The job description was also really misleading, they actually wanted a chef but made it sound like a studio coordinator. After they offered me the job, I asked for a call to go over the contract and any other questions, and they were 2 hours late to that. It just seemed like they don't really care about their team's time.
- Can you read a recipe?
- Are you aware of kitchen safety procedures?
- What's your knowledge of QVC?
Customer Service Representative
A few days after submitting my application and assessment, I got an email for an interview. At first, there weren't any slots, but I kept checking back daily until some opened up. For work-from-home roles like this one, they begin with some technical questions. After that, they move on to questions using the STAR method. If they're happy with your responses, they'll offer you the job right on the call. I got to pick from a few different shifts and confirm when training would start.
- Can you explain how to minimize or maximize your screen?
- What are the steps to change your default internet browser?
- Describe a time you got feedback from your supervisor or manager and how you dealt with it.
