Behavioral Technical Presentation

I applied online in December 2025 and heard back from a recruiter pretty quickly. The second interview was with the hiring manager, and it was mostly just talking. The third interview involved some team members, where they asked situational questions but it was still conversational. The fourth interview was with a director and was also mainly conversational. I thought there would be a final in-person interview too. The whole thing took over 3 months, and like others here, I got ghosted by the recruiter and company. It's a bummer to spend months on this and not even get an email saying I'm not being considered. I had to check the QTS career portal to see my application was inactive. Super disappointed to go through so many interviews and then be ghosted.

Behavioral Technical

I had an interview with QTS and interactions with most staff were good, everyone was professional, nice, and organized. But the interview with the hiring manager was not great. She seemed to not know basic things about the field and talked about normal tasks like they were big problems. When I talked about DEIA and mentioned being Middle Eastern, her mood changed and the conversation ended quickly. I asked for feedback later but never got any. The process itself was easy, but this made me wonder about DEIA values consistency across teams. Positives: HR was professional, scheduling and communication were easy. Negatives: Hiring manager seemed inexperienced, interview behavior didn't match DEIA values, no feedback given.

So I interviewed twice with this company and honestly both times were super unprofessional. The first time around, I talked to a bunch of people from different teams and they verbally offered me a job. They said I'd get a formal offer but it never came. I had to chase them for info and found out they messed up and posted the same job in different offices but only had budget for one. Bummer, but I still liked the company so I reapplied two years later. I told them about what happened before, and the new HR manager swore it wouldn't happen again, even said she'd 'personally guarantee' it. After just one interview, though, I heard nothing back. I followed up professionally by email and phone, but got zero response or even an explanation. I was just ghosted. If this is how they treat people trying to join, I'd tell others to be careful.

I had an amazing experience with QTS. My journey began with Steven Stewart, the recruiter, whose professionalism and follow-through were outstanding. He was very helpful, responsive, and guided me through every step. It was the best recruiter experience I've had. My interview was with the hiring manager and their team. It was a comfortable and pleasant experience. I received feedback during my presentation and they asked several good questions. QTS seems like an amazing company doing incredible things, and I'd be proud to be part of their caring family.
