Project Manager
Experiences may vary. Typically, you'll start with a screening interview by phone with a recruiter. After that, you'll have an interview with several people, including the hiring manager. You'll also meet with someone who might be on your team or not, just to see if you're a good culture fit. Sometimes, there might be a panel interview.
- Can you tell me about your leadership style?
Project Manager
The interview process here is pretty laid-back, which is pretty standard for a company that's growing fast. Since we're growing, it's super important that you can think outside the box to get stuff done. If you can show us you're eager, comfortable working without a lot of structure, and good at solving problems, we'll probably hire you.
- What kind of projects do you enjoy working on the most?
- What kind of projects do you dislike working on the most?
- How would you describe your management style?
Project Manager
The whole interview process took more than 2 months. It included an HR interview, a hiring manager interview, a team interview, and a final in-person interview with the hiring manager. They asked some behavioral and skill-based questions. It felt very conversational, and I really liked the hiring manager and the team. The hiring manager mentioned at the end of the final interview that the team wanted to extend an offer. A few days later, the recruiter called to gauge my interest and discuss details before sending the offer. We chatted, and I wanted some details confirmed, so she said she'd get back to me after speaking with the hiring manager. I never heard from them again. Totally ghosted, not even a generic message. It was a really weird situation for a company to do this in 2025.
- Are you someone who does well in stressful situations?
