So, the interview was pretty chill, and honestly, it went pretty well except for one of the interviewers who seemed a bit dismissive. I kind of got a vibe from his handshake and how he looked me over that he wasn't really feeling me from the start, even though I was on time, friendly, and dressed professionally. I actually got the job offer and accepted it, but then a few days later, they called me back and said they'd gone with someone who had more experience. It really put me in a tough spot because I'd already quit my current job, and now I had to back out of that too. So now my current company knows I'm looking to leave, which is kind of risky. Seriously, don't offer someone a job if you're not going to go through with it! I thought that was super unprofessional. If you were really planning to hire me, why keep looking and then offer it to someone else? It just doesn't add up.

First you talk to HR for an initial screening. If you pass that, the hiring manager will call you for a phone interview. If you pass that, you come in for a job-shadow of the role, and then have an in-person interview with the hiring manager.

Behavioral Case Presentation

At Priority1, you'll go through a few rounds of interviews. It might start with phone calls, then maybe an in-person meeting. There's also a 'field day' where you get to tag along with a sales rep. You could have several interviews with different managers, and they'll really want to see how good you are at sales and if you'll vibe with the company. They're big on you knowing your stuff about the territory and the customers you'd be working with.

It was a pretty quick interview process. It took less than a week from the phone screen to getting an offer, spanning two business weeks. The whole experience was very pleasant, relaxed, and easy-going. The recruiter I spoke with was really kind and knew a lot about the role. I ended up declining because I accepted another job offer, but that fell through due to unexpected family needs. I'm hoping to reconnect with Jessica to talk about a different opportunity and explain what happened.
