The interview process for this Business/Data Analyst Intern role involved 3 rounds. First, a basic technical screening covering SQL and Python fundamentals, like joins, group by, and simple data manipulation. Second, a technical and problem-solving round where they presented scenarios with tables and asked for solutions, with follow-up questions to gauge understanding. Finally, a managerial/business round focused on problem-solving and business acumen, with questions on analyzing issues like booking drops or improving conversion, requiring structured answers. The interview was tough, especially the last round, pushing for optimal solutions and deep thought. Clear communication and a structured approach are key.

So the whole thing kicked off with a call from HR. They just wanted to check the basics – you know, if my skills matched, what I expected salary-wise, where I was based, and if I'd be up for a move. It was pretty standard. Right after that, they set up a 30-minute technical chat, they called it 'R0'. This technical part was all about core JavaScript stuff. The interviewer was cool, and the questions were like this: they really drilled down on closures and the differences between call, apply, and bind. Then, they threw in a coding challenge to write a polyfill for bind, like, from scratch. I did it, ran it with some test cases to show it worked. After that, we talked about the event loop and some input/output questions related to async execution. The interviewer seemed happy, said it was 'nicely done', and that was it.

The HR person was really unprofessional, they ghosted me and didn't respond to my messages or emails. It started well, but then they just stopped talking to me. I tried reaching out many times through email and LinkedIn, but got no reply. It was disrespectful to be ignored after putting in effort. Practo should really change how they recruit and treat candidates better. Ghosting people makes the company look bad and discourages job seekers. Because of this bad experience, I can't suggest Practo as a place to work. Job seekers should be careful about how they might be treated.
