It was a quick chat, about 5 to 10 minutes. They asked about my background, my career aspirations, previous jobs, my availability, whether I was a student, if I had fast food experience, if I had my own transportation, and if I could work late nights.

I did a quick personality quiz to apply. The Seasoned app helped me schedule the interview. I met with someone working behind the counter, and we talked at a table. Even though I was nervous and it was loud, and I had my notes, they were patient with me. The whole thing was super fast, only about 10 minutes, and I heard back in less than a week.

The interview process went very well and the staff were very friendly. It was a pleasant conversation and I received an offer on the spot. There were some tricky accounting questions about US reporting standards and cash measures asked by the head of the regional department.

Everyone was super nice. The interview process moved pretty fast and was efficient. But, the day before my final interview with the VP, my status in TalentReef changed to "Position Closed." I did the interview anyway, just in case it was a glitch. They ghosted me after that last interview, and my follow-up emails were ignored. I guess the status update was their way of saying I didn't get the job? Even though it was updated the day before my final interview? Seems like a waste of everyone's time if the decision was already made.

  • The finance manager sent an Excel spreadsheet for me to complete.
