So I had four interviews in total. The first was with the GM, the second time I met with the GM of another location, the third interview was with the DM and the last one was with HR. It was a really tedious process and I never got called back. Three weeks of running around for nothing. They make you work for 2 hours for free and call it an IJP 'In job preview'.

I applied online and got contacted about thirty minutes later to schedule an interview. Two days later, I interviewed with the DM, and there were three pages of questions. We started by going over my resume, and I explained my position at each job and why I left. I also had to explain the gaps in my employment. Then he started on the questions, and I found that having a lot of examples ready is helpful if you're a slow thinker. They're mainly listening for leadership qualities. They didn't ask the typical 'tell me about yourself' question, likely because there were so many other detailed questions. It's important to know some company history and why you want to work for Potbelly. My first interview went well, but then he mentioned there's a two-step process, so I scheduled another interview with the GM for the next week. I think I really bombed that second interview. Some questions were repeated, but many were even more detailed. The questions are structured so you have to use the STAR method for all of them. I recommend Googling it if you're unfamiliar. I personally feel I'd be great at the job, but I don't think my true potential came across in the interview. I suggest selling yourself whenever you can in your responses.

It was a pretty simple process. I had 2 interviews, the first one was with the GM (store manager) and then a second one with the DM. Some of the questions they asked were the same in both interviews, but there were a few that were different. I got a verbal offer the same day as my second interview. I filled out a few pieces of paper and then was sent a formal letter, which I had to accept.
