Manager
I had 4 interviews that were each about an hour long. The first interview was with HR and was a screening. The next three were with a Principal, a Director, and the Head of North America. These were standard case interviews and also had a behavioral component.

I had an initial HR chat, then three more case interviews. The first was with a manager and included 30 mins of behavioural questions and a 30 min case study. The second was with a partner, also 30 mins behavioural and 30 mins case. The last one was with a director, it was 40 mins behavioural/prior work experience focused on results, followed by a 30 min case.

Senior Consultant
This company is working on its diversity rep, but my final interview kind of proved my suspicions. The whole process was a real mixed bag. I met some great partners I'd love to work with, but also ran into some really questionable ones. One interviewer made some backhanded comments and stereotypes about my cultural background, which was tough, especially since that partner is a minority himself.

It took me about 2 months to get through everything. There were 5 interviews spread out over 1-2 weeks each. First, I spoke with HR, who was really nice and helped me get ready for the case interviews. Then, rounds 2 through 4 were with Partners. Each was an hour long and included a case study followed by a behavioral question. They were friendly and seemed to want to see me do my best. The last interview was with the managing partner, which lasted an hour and a half. It felt a bit intimidating, but it was okay overall. It turns out the managing partner has the final say and can override everyone else, which kind of made the earlier interviews seem pointless. He was looking for someone exceptionally brilliant, not just average. He also gave me some false hope, saying to be ready because they might make an offer in about six months. It's a typical business company, and I'm not sure how much they actually value their employees.
