I saw a sign in the window at Papyrus that said they were hiring. I went in and asked about available positions. The manager quickly scheduled an interview with me to discuss potential roles. I arrived 20 minutes early to show I was serious about the position. The interview was easy-flowing and comfortable, with simple questions. The interview concluded, and the interviewer mentioned she would pass my information to the hiring manager for review and a potential callback. It was a bit confusing as the interviewer couldn't specify which positions or locations were available.

I went through a 2-part interview. The first was with the store manager, and it was pretty chill. They mostly asked about my previous experience and how I'd use it here, like if I'd handled cash or worked on my own. They also told me a lot about the role. The second interview was similar, focusing more on customer service and making sure I understood how to provide a high-quality experience for a more expensive store. I got offered the job right after the second interview, but I'm not sure that's always how it goes for them. Definitely look into the company's values beforehand!

Started with a recruiter call who set up an interview with the district manager for the store manager position. It was a pretty casual and informal interview. The interview itself was quite unprofessional, lacking structure in its questions. A lot of importance was put on how I presented myself, specifically my appearance, and whether I seemed like the 'type' of person who would fit in. Dress to impress.

I had an in person interview with the store manager that took two hours, then a phone interview with the district manager that lasted 15 minutes, and a second phone interview with the regional manager that also lasted 15 minutes. They wanted to see my resume. I got hired and promoted to manager about a month after I started working there.
