First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PagBank.
Software Developer
I went through a consulting firm for this. The final interview was a letdown. One of the senior devs barely introduced himself and didn't even turn his camera on, even though he was actively participating. Overall, the team seemed pretty uninterested. I had to repeat some of the same answers more than once because they didn't seem to be paying attention. Anyway, by this point, I could already tell how much of a mess this role would be.

- Questions about my previous projects.
IT Intern
I had a group activity where we had to come up with a feature that combines the PagBank app with AI. After that, I moved on to talk with the tech lead from the development area. Unfortunately, I didn't make it past this stage because I wasn't familiar with messaging and containerization technologies at the time.

- Have you had experience with Kotlin?
- Did you work with Spring Boot?
Analyst
I recently found a job opening that seemed ideal. I carefully prepared and sent my resume, highlighting my most relevant experiences. Happily, I quickly got confirmation that I was selected for an interview. During the process, I spoke with the manager and the team lead, where we discussed my skills and the company culture. However, when I received the job offer, I realized the salary wasn't in line with the job's demands. After thinking about it, I decided to decline the offer, looking for a position that better matched my expectations and needs.

Sales Executive
The interview with the managers was great. I did an individual dynamic, without group interaction, which I thought was awesome because I feel more comfortable presenting myself that way. I applied for a specific role, but during the conversation, the manager mentioned that another area also needed help and that my profile seemed to fit better there. I really liked his insight in understanding that I would have better alignment with another position and suggesting this change. It was a very positive experience!
