First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pacific Office Automation.
Administrative Assistant
I had a phone interview, and then two in-person interviews. It was pretty straightforward, mostly behavioral questions. They also gave me a long behavioral test during the first in-person meeting. They basically told me I had the offer at the last interview, but since I had a trip planned that was longer than they liked, I ended up getting rejected.
- Can you tell me about your 5-year plan?
Contract Administrator
The interview started with a phone screener, then I had an in-person meeting with the department head. They mainly asked about my past experience, nothing too tough. After that, I had to complete a seven-page personality test. I was told I'd get an update, but then got ghosted and heard nothing.
- Is the salary offered acceptable to you?
Field Service Technician
The interview process with Pacific Office Automation was disappointing due to unprofessionalism. Initially, I was told the starting pay would be around $28/hour given my background. However, after a two-hour assessment test, the offered range dropped to $21-22/hour, which felt misleading after investing time. Also, on both interview visits, the front desk staff didn't seem to know I had an interview scheduled, creating a disorganized and unwelcoming impression.

Accounting Assistant
I had a phone screening, and then they set up an in-person interview. It was a really straightforward interview. At the very end, they gave me a packet of personality tests to complete, which took about two hours total. They mentioned they would reach out to schedule a second in-person interview, but I never heard back from them, not even to say they weren't moving forward. I'm not sure what they're looking for, especially since they keep posting job ads for this role.
