Behavioral Technical Presentation

This role had 4 interview rounds. It started with a recruiter call, then a full day of interviews. This full day consisted of three interviews: two with analysts or senior analysts, and one with the head of HR. If it were a full-time role, the final interview would be with the CEO, Dale.

Presentation Behavioral Technical

I was given a dataset to organize first. If I passed that, I would present it in the first round interview. The interview itself was pretty basic and straightforward. The recruiter I spoke with was really nice and the whole thing felt super easy. She mentioned they hire fast and I'd hear back in a few days. I never got a response though, even after following up a couple of times (and I saw she opened my emails). It was a bummer, especially since I worked on the presentation and she gave me a timeline for hearing back.

Case Behavioral Presentation

I went through 3 rounds for this Analytics role. The process involved a case study and several behavioral interviews. Initially, I was given a data file to organize using pivot tables and then present my recommendations. This presentation was part of the first round. They also asked me a market sizing question.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

I got good vibes from the interview process and they gave me good feedback during the different parts (exam, screening, and 4 'final' interviews). But then, the communication afterwards really bummed me out. I had to follow up 3 times for updates, and then got rejected with no explanation or feedback. It's kinda insulting, especially for a company that mostly hires new grads and works with campuses, to not even give feedback after like 6 rounds. I've seen this in other reviews too. Hopefully Ovative gets better at explaining their hiring process and doesn't just send a quick email to reject students who put in a lot of work and did well in all the interviews.
