I filled out an application and uploaded my resume online. A recruiter contacted me about a week later for a phone screen. About a month after that, I had a virtual interview with the Regional Office Administrator. I got really good feedback and they said I'd be interviewing in person with the Office Managing Shareholder in about two weeks, but then they ghosted me.

It was pretty straightforward. They asked general questions. It was a friendly chat. Make sure you know a little about our immigration process before you go in. Be on time and present yourself professionally. Don't forget to mention any skills you have that could apply to this role. The interview was online, not in person. Be talkative.

Technical Coding

I went through a 4-round interview process at Ogletree. It included a take-home assessment that took up my whole Thanksgiving break. They were really eager to get my code submission, sending many follow-ups asking for it in a format they could open. After all that, they went completely silent. My attempts to follow up were ignored, and I never got any feedback or updates. It felt unprofessional and unresponsive, and made me wonder if the assessment was just a way to get free work instead of a real evaluation. Given this, I won't be working with them and suggest others avoid this company.

Behavioral Group Other

The interview process was pretty much like what I read online. I met with the attorneys I would be supporting and then a group of other practice assistants. It was a super relaxed and light chat. It was more about getting to know each other than a tough skills and experience grilling. I had 45 minutes scheduled with the attorneys and another 45 minutes with the PAs, and both chats ran almost the entire time. The hiring manager extended an offer to me the very next day.
