I had a phone interview for the Scheduler position, and I thought it went really well. The recruiter seemed to like my responses. They mentioned I'd hear back in 3-5 days, but I haven't heard anything and I'm no longer being considered. I checked the website and saw I'm not moving forward with that one. It's tough trying to get hired; I've applied to a bunch of jobs I feel qualified for and still nothing. Friends have also mentioned having a hard time getting hired.

The interview process was really simple. First, there's a phone screening with a recruiter. After that, the recruiter sends you to the hiring manager for another interview. The instructions for the interview are really clear. The recruiters and staff are great at responding to concerns right away.

I applied to 5 jobs over a month and kept following up with the recruiter but was ignored. When I checked my application status, the same day I emailed, they marked me as 'no longer considered'. It took a week to find out I didn't get the job, with no communication. Another outpatient position I applied for, again, no communication, and it's been over two weeks and still says 'interviewing'. The recruiter seems supportive at first, then just ghosts you. The outpatient managers I interviewed with were cold and not paying attention. I'm starting to think they use fake postings because I keep getting interviews but then get no response after following up. The recruiter even reached out about openings after I didn't get the first job.

I put in an application and a recruiter got in touch with me the following week. They mentioned Norton healthcare is good for students in healthcare, but my recruiter seemed to think the job was too hard for me as a student, comparing it to long term care and suggesting part-time. She seemed to have a negative view of me being a student, despite my training and career goals in healthcare. I felt belittled and that the interview didn't reflect my qualifications or aspirations to grow from PCA to RN and then a midwife. She kept bringing up that I was a student as a negative, talked over me, and spoke really fast, which was unprofessional given she knew I was a student when she contacted me.
