Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Norton Healthcare.
Registered Nurse
The interview process was really simple. First, there's a phone screening with a recruiter. After that, the recruiter sends you to the hiring manager for another interview. The instructions for the interview are really clear. The recruiters and staff are great at responding to concerns right away.
- Can you share an instance where you forgot to complete a task and describe how you managed the situation?
Registered Nurse
I applied online. About two weeks after submitting, HR reached out via email to set up a phone interview. About a week following that phone call, I interviewed with the unit manager. They gave me a tour of the unit and explained how it all worked. I got the offer three weeks after that. The questions were pretty standard for nursing roles, focusing on my background and experience.
- Can you describe a time you received constructive criticism and how you handled it?
Registered Nurse
Waited a while for HR to get in touch. Then I had an interview with the Nurse Manager and some of my potential colleagues. The hiring process itself moved along pretty quickly. The onboarding was really great, super organized and they gave us good info. Everyone I met was friendly.
- Can you describe a time you had to handle a challenging patient?
