The manager talked to me about myself and my experience. They gave me simple tasks to do. It was very interactive and they got to know me. It was a really easy interview. We did a group interview with a few people who were also applying, and then she asked us questions individually. It was super interactive.

I applied through a recruiter in January 2020 and then got an email from HR for a phone interview. After that, I had an in-person interview with two people I would be working with. The in-person interview was short and a bit unprofessional. The interviewers seemed unhappy and uninterested, which gave me a bad impression of the office from the start. They seemed to be making up questions as we went along, making the interview feel scattered and disjointed. I left confused and disappointed. The whole thing took about 20 minutes, and they said they'd be in touch. I never heard back from anyone, which was also unprofessional and unusual. This is considered a background check stage because they never followed up.

I had a phone screening with a recruiter where they asked basic questions about my resume. They then set me up to meet with an HR executive at their NYC office the following week. The interview went well and we had a good discussion, but I never heard back about my application status. It's now April 2019, and I still haven't heard anything since interviewing in September 2018. I sent one follow-up email to their HR Coordinator that also went unanswered. It's just professional courtesy to let candidates know their status, especially after they take the time to interview in person. It's a shame because the interview itself was positive, but the company's follow-up and overall professionalism were lacking.

After applying, I called and spoke with a manager. A few days later, I was invited for an interview. It was a group interview led by the assistant manager. We were asked to create an outfit by walking around the store and explaining our choices. It felt very relaxed, and the manager provided in-depth explanations about what they and the store were looking for. The interview was short, the questions were logical, and I received an offer the next day. The training is straightforward if you document what the manager shows you.
