So, to kick things off, the interviewer wanted me to just chat about my background and what I've done before. Then, they hit me with one big technical question. The whole thing was broken down into parts, you know? They started with a pretty simple version of the problem, and then just kept adding more difficulty as we went. Each part needed a bit more thinking, so it felt like they were purposefully making it harder step-by-step. Honestly, it felt like a pretty standard technical interview. Nothing too crazy or unexpected, just seeing how I'd tackle a problem, break it down, and then adjust when they threw in new rules.

The interview started with an HR call, which was quite relaxed, partly in Portuguese and partly in English, with general questions. The second interview was with two technical leads, focusing more on the technical requirements of the role, and it was also quite relaxed. Finally, the candidate needs to record themselves summarizing their career path for two minutes.

I had an initial interview with the recruiter in June. This first conversation was just for her to get to know me better and understand which area within IT I'd like to work in the future. I got approval for a second interview, but had to wait for the position to open, which would take a few months. The second interview finally happened in September, where I was interviewed by the team supervisor. He conducted the interview very well and asked interesting questions. I only found it uncomfortable because the whole team was present during the interview (5 people). I understand the importance, but it makes the interviewee less comfortable.
