Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Meta IT.
Data Scientist
So first you usually talk to a recruiter to see if you're a good fit. Then there are some technical tests like coding or case studies. After that, you might have some behavioral interviews to talk about your past experiences and soft skills. Sometimes there are panel interviews with a few people from the team. The last part is usually talking to senior people and then hopefully you get an offer.
- Can you discuss the machine learning techniques and algorithms you are familiar with?
Data Scientist
A recruiter reached out to me. While I didn't get an offer in the end, the interview process itself was a pleasant experience and not too difficult. It seemed mostly focused on understanding my background and my interest in the role.
- What makes you interested in this particular position?
Data Scientist
Very difficult, hard to score well, the interview process was very smooth and enjoyable though. Definitely will need to prepare a lot of coding questions in advance. This is quite an experience.
