You'll have a one-on-one chat with the manager of the store. It'll be pretty laid-back, but they'll still ask some real questions to get a feel for your background, what you're looking for, and your career aims.

it was pretty easy. they asked about my skills and some theoretical questions about the job. i got a call back within the week and started onboarding a week later. overall it was a smooth and easy process.

The process involves an in-depth evaluation of your understanding of the competitive marketplace and product trends, your knowledge of contact centre operations and policies, and your familiarity with call centre technology, processes, and metrics. We'll also look at your technical skills from education or work, your communication abilities (verbal and written), your collaboration and team skills, and your analytical and problem-solving capabilities. All these are in-depth assessments.

The whole thing took about two weeks. Applied online, then got a call about four days later to set up a phone interview with two people. After passing that, I had to do a writing test: four online pieces, mostly emails with headlines, subject lines, and descriptive copy. Passed that too, and then got invited for an on-site interview. The following Monday, I got a generic rejection email saying they were looking at other candidates. But the job posting is still up after months. Tailored Brands owns Men's Wearhouse and K&G stores, so the copywriter listing sometimes varies between them. I don't know why they haven't filled the position after over half a year of listings. Maybe they have issues with what they want, or maybe they're using the writing tests for free ideas and copy (which seems shady). Despite the misuse of applicant time and talent, the campus is very sharp and beautiful. Too bad they can't find a copywriter after all these months. Maybe they're holding out for Miranda Priestly.
