They asked questions to assess general technical skills, not strictly tied to the role. I was told programming knowledge wasn't essential, but they inquired about OOP concepts in Java and various SQL topics to gauge overall aptitude. During the interview, I was informed that the job is demanding with limited work-life balance. I found this surprising for an early-stage interview, though I appreciated the candor. The apparent stress of the interviewers, combined with the work-life balance information, made me decide against pursuing employment with this organization.

The interview was composed of 3 rounds: first an analytical test, then a technical round, and finally an HR discussion. I successfully passed both the technical and test stages and was awaiting the HR call. However, after waiting for over 6 hours, the HR representative informed me that they could not proceed with my application due to salary expectations being too high, stating that a maximum of a 10% hike was possible. My issue is that if there are such salary limitations, they should be clearly communicated in the initial email, indicating the maximum budget. It was a really bad experience. I would advise against wasting your time here.
