Research Associate
I had an initial phone screen with the recruiter. Shortly after the call, I was sent 3 questions to answer. Then, references were requested shortly after, and then a 45-minute interview was scheduled with each team member. I think it lasted 3-4 hours in total. After the interview, I got a call from the offer with a rejection. I have three issues with this whole process. 1. The 30-45 minute interviews with each team member are pointless, long, and repetitive. Why not combine them into one zoom meeting where the candidate can meet everyone at the same time? Nobody has 4-5 hours to spend on a job interview. We have lives too. 2. Their process is misleading. I've interviewed with many companies and rarely have I seen them ask for references before a second or final interview. Why ask for references if I'm not a final candidate? 3. Making a candidate schedule a time just to reject them over the phone is pretty heartless. A detailed email with feedback would definitely suffice.

Research Manager
The interview process involved a phone interview followed by 3-45 minute interviews with different team members. I interviewed for research manager but was told by the recruiter that even if that didn't work out that I would be considered for the associate role. After an offer for manager was not extended, I asked the recruiter about the associate role but he never got back to me. This is the second time I apply here and don't get the job, and it is the second time I ask Gene, the recruiter, for feedback only to be ignored both times.
- Can you share an example of a time when...
- Tell me about a time when you encountered a significant challenge in your role as a manager.
- Describe a situation where you led a research project from inception to completion.
Accountant
The interview process started with an internal recruiter call, followed by a chat with the accounting manager. The final round involved a 1:1 meeting with three people: the VP of Finance, the Controller, and the Accounting Manager. All the interviews felt pretty chill and pretty standard, mostly behavioral. Some of the interviewers didn't seem very engaged, and it felt more like they were trying to sell the company. The accounting team seemed a bit separate from the rest of the office, located in a quiet, unfinished part of the building. About two hours after the final interview, the recruiter called to say the team liked me, but someone else had already accepted the offer. They then offered me a role at their sister company, which seemed a bit strange given the timing.
- Can you explain what a reconciliation is?
- What could cause cash to be out of balance?
Field Associate
So the recruiting process is pretty long. A recruiter emailed me to set up a phone interview for the next week. After that, they sent me a math and writing test, both timed. The math part took about 20 mins with business word problems, and the writing test was an essay for about an hour. If I passed those, the recruiter set up a Skype interview. The final stage before an offer is an in-office meeting with LRW management, which includes 3 interviews back-to-back, each lasting 45 minutes.
- What makes you interested in marketing research?
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- Describe a situation where you had to improve team morale.
