Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The interview process involved a recruiter call, and there were 3 rounds in total. The recruiter screening included SQL questions. Next, I met with the director to discuss my experience and was asked behavioral questions. Following that, an in-person case study presentation was required. The case study was open-ended.

So there were three rounds in total. First was a phone screening with the talent acquisition team. Second, I had a Microsoft Teams interview with an Account Representative manager, where we mostly discussed the role itself. The final round was an in-person interview with the division VP, and that's where they asked more in-depth questions about things like my strengths and weaknesses.

It was very direct and to the point. They didn't really try to build any rapport, and it felt more like they were grilling me on my skills instead of seeing if I'd be a good cultural fit. They had me thinking it was an in-person interview, but then they said I didn't have sufficient experience.

This interview process was really strange, I got the feeling my age was a problem. The interviewer didn't seem interested in learning about my actual work experience at all. I ended up having to lead the questioning. He brought up how well a young person at the company was doing. Then he asked if I could see myself in the role, but mentioned he had a lot of candidates with staffing experience, which he knew I didn't have, so I'm not sure why he bothered interviewing me.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you discuss your past work experience in the hospital from 13 years ago?
