Account Executive
Applied online and heard back quickly from a recruiter who scheduled the first interview. The interview itself was a bit strange, it felt more like a sales pitch for the job and company rather than a discussion of my qualifications. It ended on a positive note, but then the recruiter went silent for no clear reason. This has happened to me twice now with this company. I was qualified for both roles, but the recruiters stopped responding after positive chats and talks about moving forward. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time with them.
- Can you compare your past experience to the requirements of this role?
- How do your previous experiences align with the responsibilities of this position?
Account Executive
Applied via referral and recruiter reached out right away for a quick phone interview. Then got invited to a Top Golf event for an interview with an account manager, and also had to do an online DISC assessment to bring. The Top Golf thing was kinda weird, lots of recent grads the managers seemed to flirt with. The account manager interview there was super awkward, she talked a lot and hurried me. Surprisingly, got invited back for a more in-depth interview with another account manager, which was great, best one ever. After that, interviewed with an account manager and VP together, which also went well. Then the VP had me interview with a different account manager and VP the same day, and also shadow an account rep, which was good too and I enjoyed it. Got rejected two days later, wasn't expecting that. Sent thank you emails to everyone. The company felt a bit like a sorority, not sure I'd fit in.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a problem and how you managed to fix it?
- What is a significant lesson you learned from a past supervisor?
Sales Account Representative
I had a really good time interviewing here. A recruiter from LinkedIn reached out to me and was super helpful in walking me through everything. First, I had a phone screen, then I took a DISC personality test. After that, I met in person with two sales training managers. The last round was with the VP and Associate VP of the division I was applying to.
- How competitive are you, and do you compete more with others or yourself?
- To what extent does money motivate you?
- Can you tell me about a challenge you've faced and learned from?
