First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at LocumTenens.com.
Account Representative
So there were three rounds in total. First was a phone screening with the talent acquisition team. Second, I had a Microsoft Teams interview with an Account Representative manager, where we mostly discussed the role itself. The final round was an in-person interview with the division VP, and that's where they asked more in-depth questions about things like my strengths and weaknesses.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Account Representative
It's a long interview process with many behavioral interviews. They want to see if you're motivated by money and willing to work hard. They won't hire you if you're too old, and they tend to hire younger, attractive women based on looks rather than skills. If you have too much experience, they think you won't be teachable. They prefer young, attractive women right out of college who are really pleasant to their managers. They look for high-energy, driven people who are confident but not arrogant. Be ready to answer questions quickly, where how you answer is more important than the answer itself; they're trying to evaluate you on a deeper level. They have a really high turnover rate for entry-level positions, which they hide by only sharing the retention rate of long-term employees. Most people you start with won't last.
- What questions do you have for me?
Account Representative
The process seemed normal, but I had to do a DISC assessment after the phone interview. After the interview, they asked if I'd consider other positions. It felt like they were trying to push me into a different role. It was a bit unnerving to see all the company's amenities and then not hear back after the interview. I only got a rejection email, and they didn't respond when I asked for feedback. The interviewer was different from the phone interview person, and it felt like a rushed handshake.
- Tell me about how you would react in various scenarios.
