First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes.
Office Manager
I was sent a Google Drive with files about the company, the job description, school holidays etc. I thought it was a one way video interview, but it’s actually a zoom interview with their HR. They canceled the interview 45 minutes before it was scheduled to start, even though it was set up a week in advance. Very unprofessional and I'm not sure if it was automated.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Intern
The interview process started with a screening call. After that, there was a committee interview, and the final round was with the hiring manager. However, I only completed the first round and didn't proceed further.
- Can you state your immigration status?
- Confirm your work eligibility.
- Please elaborate on your backgrounds.
Learning Clinician
It was a pretty standard interview process. I was given a reading comprehension test and a phonetic understanding test. I only met with the main branch manager. The front desk staff seemed unsure about why I was there when I arrived.
- What motivates you to work with special needs children?
Clinician
So after you apply, they give you this online screening test. It's done over Zoom, and they proctor it with cameras on. You'll have to spell some fake words to check your phonics understanding. Then, you'll read some short passages and answer reading comprehension questions. If you pass that, the center's leadership will look at your resume and interview you. They asked me about my past jobs, why I wanted this job, and then I did a practice exercise to show how they teach some things. The screening test was about an hour long (I think you get more time, but can leave early; they also spend some time giving you intro info). The in-person interview was under 30 minutes.
- Can you tell me about yourself and explain why you are interested in becoming a Clinician at Lindamood-Bell? Also, please share the reasons for leaving your previous position.
- Could you demonstrate the instructional method that is utilized in some of your teaching?
