We had several screenings with different activities, like a spelling test and modeling student interactions, to see how we responded. It was all done online because of the pandemic, but they might have you come in person now.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process included a lot of personality questions and a "technical" interview. The technical part had a spelling test and a reading comprehension test with passages that got harder as you went on. It felt a lot like the ELA section of the ACT.

Technical Behavioral Presentation

So after you apply, they give you this online screening test. It's done over Zoom, and they proctor it with cameras on. You'll have to spell some fake words to check your phonics understanding. Then, you'll read some short passages and answer reading comprehension questions. If you pass that, the center's leadership will look at your resume and interview you. They asked me about my past jobs, why I wanted this job, and then I did a practice exercise to show how they teach some things. The screening test was about an hour long (I think you get more time, but can leave early; they also spend some time giving you intro info). The in-person interview was under 30 minutes.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Can you tell me about yourself and explain why you are interested in becoming a Clinician at Lindamood-Bell? Also, please share the reasons for leaving your previous position.
  • Could you demonstrate the instructional method that is utilized in some of your teaching?
