First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes.
Office Manager
I was sent a Google Drive with files about the company, the job description, school holidays etc. I thought it was a one way video interview, but it’s actually a zoom interview with their HR. They canceled the interview 45 minutes before it was scheduled to start, even though it was set up a week in advance. Very unprofessional and I'm not sure if it was automated.

Office Manager
It was a long interview process. The first interview was a group thing with spelling and comprehension tests. The second was a phone call with a hiring/recruiting person from far away. The third was in person with the center director and more tests. The fourth was a video chat with the person in charge of about 15 centers. I got a basic email saying they picked someone else about a day after the fourth interview. I asked why I wasn't chosen anymore to get some feedback but never heard back, which felt unprofessional after all the time I spent interviewing.
- How do you manage to stay organized when things get crazy at work?
Office Manager
I saw a Craigslist ad and they called me in for a skills test the next week. There were 3 other people there for the same job. We watched a short video about the company and then took a spelling test and a critical thinking test. If you pass these, you are guaranteed an interview.
- What makes you a suitable candidate for this position?
- What do you consider your strongest attributes?
- How would you handle specific situations presented to you, simulating a high-emotion environment?
