It was a three stage interview process. First I spoke with the recruiter, then the hiring manager, and finally the rest of the team. I completed all three stages but unfortunately didn't get a callback. It was pretty easy overall, just make sure you have a lot of questions prepared for the team.

We walked around the area and talked about the job in more detail. They explained how to interact with customers and what to do when things get really busy or difficult. The manager also asked me to mention a skill I have that would be good for the job but I haven't put on my resume.

The interview process at Lids usually starts with an initial phone screening, where they might ask about your experience and why you want to work there. If that goes well, you could have an in-person interview, where they’ll likely ask about your customer service skills and how you’d handle different situations in the store. Just be yourself and show your passion for hats and sports.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied online and after a bit of a wait, I got scheduled for an in-person interview with the Store Manager. It was pretty chill, we built some good rapport. They told me about the store and their own journey with the company. Then, a second interview was set up with the District Manager. After that, I just had to wait for feedback from the first manager. I got the job offer two days after the second interview.
