We walked around the area and talked about the job in more detail. They explained how to interact with customers and what to do when things get really busy or difficult. The manager also asked me to mention a skill I have that would be good for the job but I haven't put on my resume.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The hiring manager was half an hour late and took her time getting ready, telling me to look around the store. Then she wanted to do the interview in the food court. Walking past a kiosk, she pointed out pushy sales employees, asking if I hated that. I just shrugged and agreed, but looking back, it was probably a test. Once seated, she looked at my resume and said I wasn't right for the job. The whole interview felt like a test, like I should have been aggressively selling myself. She barely asked questions. She was confused I wanted to work outside Langley, where I was living at the time and really wanted to move from.
