Credit Strategy Analyst
First, there was an HR interview call, super nice person, asking general questions about my background, working authorization, and salary expectation. Then, a HM zoom interview, which was challenging. They started by introducing the team and the position, then asked about my experience and project details. After that, there was a 20-minute small case study. Next, a technical interview with real-time coding in SQL and Python. Following that was a panel interview, and finally, an office interview.

Financial Crimes Compliance Specialist
The hiring process had 5 stages. First, a chat with HR to go over the job and my background. Then, a writing task to check my skills and industry knowledge. After that, a panel interview with the hiring manager and a teammate for technical and experience-based questions. Next was a round robin with my manager's boss and colleagues from other teams, focusing on behavioral aspects and cultural fit. Finally, another interview with my direct manager for more behavioral and personality questions. The whole thing from start to offer took about a month, with the offer coming just days after the last interview. It was a well-organized process, and I liked how it went.

The interview process starts with a recruiter call and then a hiring manager chat. If you get through that, you'll have a panel interview for technical interviews. The recruiter call is mostly about seeing if you're a good fit for LC and discussing salary. The hiring manager will ask you to introduce yourself and then some questions about credit policy, with follow-ups. The panel interview is for technical assessments.
- What is your motivation for joining LC?
- Can you share your salary expectations?
- Please introduce yourself.
BSA/AML Program Manager
I was contacted by a recruiter from the company about a BSA/AML Program Manager position. I had concerns about not meeting the full years of experience required, but the recruiter assured me it was fine. We had a screening call, and then I moved on to interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager mostly talked for the entire 30 minutes, barely letting me speak and seeming bored. She mentioned I had the background they were looking for and could grow. She ended by saying the recruiter would inform me of the next steps. After a day, I was told they chose other candidates with more experience, which was my initial concern. They wasted my time and the hiring manager's. I'm glad I don't work there.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- How did you handle receiving constructive feedback?
- What would be your plan for the first 30, 60, and 90 days in this role, beyond just training?
